How long can we realistically expect the smartphone battery to last

The battery life has always been a concern for developers, manufacturers and the users themselves.

The , which are still used today because they are even thinner and lighter, charge even faster, had the longest usage so far, and have no memory effect to worry about. They can be recharged many times and still maintain their charge, as well as being friendly to the environment, unlike previous batteries.

The latest addition to the battery chain for smartphones is the lithium poly icon, or Li-Poly battery. However, these batteries are not yet commonly used.

When you get a new smartphone whatever its type of battery, it is important.  The in are reduced every time you recharge them. Nonetheless, NiCd batteries have longer life cycles i.e. they can be recharged more often than before stop working. Nickel-based batteries should be charged (to the full amount) when they're more or less out of power, and not when there's still a good amount of energy left. Li-Ion batteries have the longest life cycle among the three types of batteries but they also need to be charged more frequently (even when the battery is not fully used up) to maintain its original capacity. To keep your battery lasting longer, find out more about the type of battery that your smartphone uses and maintain the appropriate charging strategy for optimum usage.

Proper and safe use of the smartphone, it will last battery time.
