How to Save a Wet Cell Phone

Sometimes people would drop cell phone in the sink, or even worse, the toilet by accident. How to save it when it has happened?
Phone may not be too damaged if take the phone out of the water as soon as possible. After removing the phone from water, quickly gather some paper towels or soft cloths to lay the phone on while you remove the battery cover and battery. Also need to remove the SIM card, if do it quickly, it will survive in this accident.
Use a soft rag or towel to dry the phone. Avoid shaking or moving the phone excessively, so as to avoid moving water thru it.
If want to try and suck the liquid out of the inner parts of the phone, try using a vacuum cleaner if has one available. Be careful not to hold the vacuum too close to the phone, as a vacuum can create static electricity, which is even worse for the phone than water.
It is not recommended that you use a hair dryer (not even on the “cold” mode), contrary to common advice. Using a hair dryer may force moisture further inward toward the crevices, reaching the electrical components deep inside the phone.
Send to the professional repair shop, if you could not save it thru these ways.
If it can be saved in all ways that have tried, perhaps you need to give up, and buy a new one which is with waterproof.
