Do you have any advice for students trying to decide if computer programming is suitable for them?

Science” is a really broad term, it is the scientific and practical approach to  and its , also called CS or CompSci.

Some people into computer systems, down to how a CPU actually sends to the rest of a computer's components. Some are specialists in , programming the technologies that keep us connected 24/7. Some people walk the line between designers and , doing a bit of both. Some people who studied CS work to understand how users interact with systems and figure out ways to make systems better, on the front end with the and on the back end with the infrastructure. This is a maturing industry and positions are getting more and more specialized, so there's lots of different kinds of work to be done.

In short, the most important thing to decide which is suitable for them, depend on their interest.
